I will deactivate Adobe CS2 on myĬurrent computer and install it on my new computer.
I dont have CS2 and couldnt find the location of the preferences file of my CS4 (in the little time I spent looking for it), but holding the Command+Option+Shift keys while starting up Photoshop should reset the preferences file. If you search hard enough, you may run into the CS2 download on other. I have currently have CS2 9.0.2 running on 10.4.11 and it runs fine(as an off-line photo-studio Mac) CS2 is installed on a 160G HD for the applications only and there is a second 160G HD allocated as a photoshop scratch disc cache level 7. I'm thinking we'll need the original CS disc or license but I'll be When Photoshop behaves strangely or doesnt start up it often helps to remove the preferences file ( a new one is created on start up). I went to preferences and checks off double click for raw files and that works fine now, but I still have to drag JPEG pictures (and probably all non-raw image files) to the CS2 icon in the dock. If Photoshop Elements doesnt have the features you need, another option is the Creative Cloud Photography Plan at 9.99 a month which will give you the latest Photoshop and Lightroom. I had to install CS2 again using the original CD and serial number. The old code in Photoshop CS2 will never be able to install on any current Mac. I copied the CS2 folder to the new hard drive.

I have succeeded in transferring Photoshop CS2 to my new computer. Downloads for Mac OS X are provided as well, but the outdated version of Photoshop wont run on Lion and Mountain Lion.
